Macross Frontier – Why combining series and movies is good for Ranka and bad for Sheryl

A lot of Sheryl fans would love to see series and movies combined purely because of movies end. They desire to have Alto x Sheryl but with series happy end. At first I felt annoyed by this until I messed around a bit on iMovie Maker. Combining clips form series and movies. Originally over lapping them to show how depressing triangle is. During this course I decided as a joke due to similarities combined the series and movie moments to create a combined one. This proved to have interesting results. (Click to play the video.)

To start with we will go for Ranka’s rescue concert. Both series and movies feature a moment Ranka heads off to rescue someone she cares deeply for by singing. In the movies this was Sheryl however in series it was primarily for Alto. Now combining the two is tricky. While the obvious thing is to rescue both this would mean Alto wasn’t part of the rescue party like in the series as a result we would end up just following the series. Having it primarily a Sheryl rescue doesn’t work either. That was movies main focus. So the solution is a weird one.

As you can see the only way to combine them both is to have a random goth Lolita that looks shockingly like Alto attempt to rescue Alto during Ranka’s concert. Sheryl while both in series and movies she was captured she has no purpose in the combined rescue. The goth Lolita has no reason to rescue Sheryl as that would follow movie events and Alto can’t rescue Sheryl because he is also captured.

Moving on we got the pre final battle. During pre final battle one of the girls sings alongside side Alto battling. In series this was done by Sheryl who went up against a fake Ranka. In movies this was done by Ranka with no fakes around. Alto in both gives up towards the end and the girl who sang during pre final battle is upset over Alto’s loss. In the series Ranka was rescued at this point and sang encouragement, healed Sheryl and was reunited with the other two. In movies Sheryl sang encouragement and was reunited with both Alto and Ranka. Problem with combining the two comes down to Ranka and where she is during the pre battle. If you have her in fake Ranka that would be just following the series and likewise having her singing with Alto just makes it like the movie. While having them both sing during pre final battle sounds like a good idea it would be equivalent of pressing skip button. The solution is as follows.

A Ranka vs Ranka pre battle which leads to Alto rescuing Ranka and being reunited with her. Sheryl again loses out. Since she is not there to sing at beginning nor is she the one missing she has no part to play within the combined story.  If she sang later it would be like the movies. At best she may appear during final battle as an onlooker.

The final part is the ending. The primary goal for all Sheryl x Alto fans. This is by far most interesting. During the movie final battle Ranka is left alone, Sheryl in coma and Alto is MIA. One of the side pairings are now together unlike in series. In series all three are together but one pairing is permanently separated. Now going with the Sheryl x Alto fans Alto must have confessed to Sheryl and gone MIA as well as best happy end for all other pairings. This leaves Ranka alone and Sheryl in coma. So far this isn’t really a combination of the two. There is only one solution left to us…

Starting similar vain to movies it eventually merges with series towards the end. Yes that means even though Alto confessed to Sheryl it is Luca that goes to her instead. However having both Ranka and Sheryl OK would have made it follow the series even with Alto MIA. It would also defeat the purpose of why Sheryl x Alto fans want to combine them both if Alto was MIA. This leaves us with Sheryl in coma while Alto flies around with Ranka on looking.  Since no one else was hurt Luca like in series then goes to the hospital to visit Sheryl.

My 2012 Awards

Don’t Want it to End 2012 – The Last Story

When it comes to The Last Story I wish it was longer. I really feel this game should have been longer. It is just so much fun and story plays such huge importance to the game. I completed the game over a weekend and wish there was lots mroe to do. At best can replay dungeons or online modes but I want more story based dungeons. Want to know more of this world.

Please Move on 2012 –  Macross Frontier

As much as I like Macross Frontier I feel it’s getting to point of stupidity now. In particular with Sheryl Nome. She’s basically slapped on everything and gets most attention out of all the characters from series. Her pairing with Alto seems too over used now that it’s annoying. I’m just getting fed up of attention she gets and really wish we could move on. Although this could be me as a Ranka fan just wanting more Ranka stuff and less Sheryl stuff. XD

Please Don’t Forget 2012 – Pandora’s Tower

Out of three major JRPGs localised for Wii by Nintendo Pandora’s Tower feels neglected. The game is a lot of fun and offers a darker theme. It’s not same type of RPG as other two which is why people shouldn’t compare them. The timer is nothing to really worry about and Elena is a lot of fun to interact with. It’s also one of the few RPGs on Wii that actually use Wiimote in a meaningful way and not just as a normal controller. Please don’t forget about this game.

Missing One 2012 – Star Fox

I love Star Fox series. Normally we at least get some sort of minor mention but it’s been quiet for too long. Last Star Fox game we got was a remake in 2011. WIth no Star Fox attraction in Nintendo Land we are all waiting in hope something at least a little Star Fox related appears. Hopefully this year there will be something new Star Fox related.

Most Played 2012 – Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

It’s a great game to pick up and play now and then which is probably why I play it so much. The Dark notes are addictive and the music I know of. Since listen to mostly Japanese and gaming music most other music games just don’t interest me. It’s also one few music games I am actually OK at. There is no way I can do the harder difficulty ones. It took me 15+ attempts on lowest difficulty of Dark Notes.

Most Random Fun 2012 – AKB0048

When it comes to concept it sounds crazy. It’s rebel space idols with micsabers and mechas to put simply. The concert scenes range from almost normal to combat idol battling against army who are trying to put an end to entertainment. The fact the series also promotes real life idol group called AKB48 you would be forgiven for thinking this would be complete rubbish. It’s not. It’s a great deal of random fun.

Most Wanted to be Localised 2012 – Project Mirai

When it comes to other games I feel a bit safer in regards to their localisation. Project Mirai is music game starring vocaloids. The style is done as uber cute chibi or nendoroid style. It’s first Vocaloid game that Gumi has appeared in. Some of music videos have been redone for 3D. Needless to say I always wanted to try out a vocaloid game and this cute one looks perfect for me. However no word on game ever getting localised.

Best New Monsters 2012 – Dream Eaters from Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance

I really wanted to give this game a reward. This is was best I could think of. I feel some people are too hard on the game. I haven’t played all Kingdom Hearts games and I don’t find this game confusing. maybe people relay too much on their memories of the games as opposed to reading what this game has put about them. Choosing to skip cut scenes and not read reports. This game is heaps of fun. I really like Dream Eaters. I like their quirky nature and the way Sora teams up with them. I find their designs are a lot of fun and most unusual when it comes to collecting monster type systems.

Best Multiplayer Fun 2012 – Nintendo Land

When it comes to having fun with others Nintendo Land is just heaps of it. It wouldn’t be the same if it was online multiplayer or played on my own. The game really shines through when played with others. Unfortunately it makes playing single player a bit difficult to do. Once you experienced how much more fun it is with others hard to look back at single player.

Best localization 2012 – Harvest Moon 3DS Tale of Two Towns

When it comes to localizations it can be worth the wait. Especially in case of this 3DS port of DS game. In American release this game was plagued with issues and bugs. European release it was saw fit to have bug fixes. No lag and random crashes for us. We like to thank the American beta testers for their work in finding these glitches so that us European players can get much-needed bug fixes.

Happy Ending 2012 – Aquarion EVOL

From the premonitions, love triangles and previous series ending this was aiming for potentially a huge bad end. For a light-hearted mecha series it would have been disappointing specially with the themes of defeating ones destiny. Ultimately what we get is one super happy end for all. Love triangle dissolved without sad rejected characters at end. Everyone moving on and building a happier world. Whether or not you feel about the end pairing everyone was happy. Which is more than what can be said of other series and movies.

Macross Frontier Series – 5 Reasons Why Sheryl Should Have Rejected Alto

When it comes to the Love Triangle we always want our favourite pairing to win. That said I’m perfectly fine with the pairing I want ultimately not being the final so long as everyone is happy at the end. When it comes to Macross Frontier series I thought of best way to describe my thoughts on the love triangle without sounding like I am being mean and one-sided. I am in search of ultimate happy end for the love triangle. So instead of going about this the usual way of saying who I think she end up with whom I’m going to say why Sheryl should have rejected Alto instead. Here are a list of reasons why Sheryl should have rejected Alto in the series.

5. Sheryl has Other Options

When it comes to ending love triangle I always love the idea of everyone finding love as crazy as that sounds. I don’t like concept of being Forever Alone. It’s depressing and not true in many cases. When it comes to choices Sheryl has at least a couple of other male bachelors waiting around the corner. Both of them have shown they can be much more reliable and helpful then Alto ever was towards Sheryl. One was even crucial in getting Sheryl back singing. In other words she should find someone better for her then Alto.

4. Someone to Depend on

While appearing strong on outside Sheryl really leans on others to get job done. Whether that is Grace, her fans or someone else. She is not type to wait around for someone. She doesn’t want the type to just keel over and follow her every command but she needs someone she can relay on. Alto is a pilot who favours sky first. Alto will not always be there next to Sheryl. She needs someone who can be. Asking Alto to just give up his sky is same as asking Sheryl to give up singing for the sake of their love. It’s not going to happen. However they could come to a compromise even if the relationship would always be somewhat unsteady.

3. Alto Found Strength in Song

As an Idol Sheryl’s song is meant to reach out and touch others. This should be true and more so for someone in love with her.  You would expect Alto to perform brilliantly when Sheryl sings. However when Sheryl sings alone Alto loses. It’s not until Ranka joins in or starts singing does he find strength and become a better pilot. This is really shown in later episodes where Alto is met with continual losses until Ranka starts signing again. In part you could argue that it was other factors going into those losses and Sheryl just had bad luck that when she was singing bad stuff happened. That is some really bad luck though.

2. Alto Never Asked to Hear Sheryl’s Song

Being an Idol Sheryl would expect her lover to listen to her music. He would go out of his way to listen to her song and see her perform. During entire series not once did Alto ask to hear Sheryl’s song. Not once did he go somewhere with specific reason to listen to her. First concert he attended he tried to one up Sheryl and even when carrying her he wasn’t that interested in her singing and spent it talking over her singing. It wasn’t until much later did he stop and listen to Sheryl singing while out walking. Even then he didn’t stop to listen to her song fully. Rest of time he heard her song wasn’t of his free will. It was either a coincidence or part of the job.

1. Thinking of Ranka

If there was any great reason to reject someone it is because they are thinking of another. If Alto has madly in love with Sheryl when it was just those two together alone his thoughts of Ranka would vanish. Even when he was alone with Sheryl and Ranka was gone his thoughts always drew back to Ranka. In fact he spent a lot of his time chasing after Ranka during parts of the series. During the final battle he even asks Sheryl to help him reach Ranka. It’s hard to believe that someone would put up with a guy who asks for help to save love rival. It’s even harder when you consider Sheryl was on death’s door at one point but instead of focusing entirely on her Alto includes Ranka in motivational speech as well. Ranka was OK at that moment.

Note: This only applies to series and not movies. Some of the points work for Ranka to reject Alto in movies and some moments didn’t happen at all in movies.

Hyper Japan

First time I went to Hyper Japan was last year during Summer. It wasn’t as busy as MCM Expo but it was also less about anime and video games and more about Japan itself. This made it a much more refreshing event. I got to see live concert which I really enjoyed.

Second time I went to the Hyper Japan Christmas and first time cosplayed at event. Cosplaying is a lot of fun but stressful when trying to get ready. Depending on outfit chosen and character cosplaying as depends on amount of attention you get. I went as Ranka Lee but wore her newish and fairly unknown dress. I wasn’t recognised by many. During event I got chance to play WiiU which was a lot of fun. This time around I feel much more push for market side of things. It was also a lot busier but I think this is because event has gotten lot more attention and there was less competition due to timing of events. Both events could have done with more seats around the stage area. Annoying this time around I couldn’t enter cosparade because of timing of event. I have to leav fairly early to catch train home. If I was to go to another event in London I would probably stay over weekend at a hotel so I can fully enjoy the event.

My loot from this time around…

Miku Art Book, Vocaloid mini racing figures, stuffed llama, Kingdom Hearts Dream Eater Meow Wow, Final Fantasy Playing Cards, Clamp keyring and badges, Neo Mug, Owls on Moon, Sweets and Drink

The Miku art book is really pretty. They had others there but this one has some really pretty artwork. Some full-page coloured manga no text but it was really gorgeous. It has some other vocaloids too but it was mostly Miku. The Miku racing mini figures I really cute. There are couple or problems though. The car needs you to cut out the decals so it’s blank white. It was also a huge pain to put them together with their items. Already damaged one but can’t really tell. They are cute and have a good amount of accessories though. Best part is they use same stand parts as my Choco Minto Macross F figures. If I wanted to could use the podium for them instead.

The drink was really nice. Supposedly Strawberry is best flavour but was sold out. I got Orange instead. Really yummy.

These chocolates…. If you buy some you won’t like them so send them to me instead. I’ll eat them. 🙂

Halloween Video Game Rewards

This is my random Halloween Video Game Rewards. I’m looking at games that best show us what Halloween is about. This isn’t about which game is scariest or has the most gore. These are rewards for those games that provide us with the most Halloween like experience without actually having to do so ourselves.

Trick or Treaters Awards

The idea of trick or treating is to go up to a house that looks promising and knock on the door wearing soemthing that at least looks costumish and say “Trick or Treat”. The people of the house then provide you with sweets or shoo you off.

Best Trick or Treater: King Corobo’s Army – Little Kings Story

Corobo sets off with an army of freinds. First stop he sends them into the flower shop to get their costumes. Then they set off around his kingdom knocking on homes and to collect. OK so might not be great on collecting sweets but they do get lots of money and an odd occasional prize as well. At least they have right idea of what you need to do even if it’s all for the escort.

Best Trick or Treater Runner Up: Link – Twilight Princess

Link first finds a nice big city in this case Castle Town. Plenty of people and houses to check out. Link arrives in his Wolf form and instead of knocking nicely on doors he howls and barks at them. The guards all rush around him and provide him with sweets when Link spins around. At least he gets random treats for it but he needs to learn how to knock on doors and be less disruptive.

Worst Trick or Treater: Humans – Animal Crossing

The idea is you go around knocking on doors and saying “Trick or Treat” to be given sweet. Not you run around trying to avoid all the animals who are after your sweets. The whole objective for them is to find this Jack in order to trade sweets for furniture. That is not how Halloween is supposed to work.

Costume Rewards

The costume is essential part of Halloween. Your not going to get a sweet for just being you tonight. Might work every other day but not this night. It’s important to get right costume.

Best Costume: Fox McCloud – StarFox Adventures

When it comes to costumes nothing beats SharpClaw Disguise. Not only is it a full disguise but it fools SharpClaws into thinking he is actually a SharpClaw. What makes this costume above the rest though is the fact that this outfit can trick SharpClaw locks and items as well. You would be fooled into thinking a SharpClaw has come for sweets not Fox McCloud.

Best Costume Runner Up: The Heroes – Tales of Symphonia

When it comes to costume selection these guys have you covered. They have everything. They got Klonoa cosplay, Maid outfit, a mask for the lazy ones, Angel outfit and of course the more traditional Pirate and Ninja costumes too. Also got crazy weapons to match the costumes too. Everything from scary cursed weapons to not so scary but crazy funny ones like a mop.

Worst Costume: Amaterasu – Okami

When it comes to costumes a simple piece of paper/cloth with some scribbles on it over the face doesn’t cut it. It might trick some stupid monsters that called Amaterasu stupid earlier but everyone else knows it is her. The worst part is those monsters think she is cute in this disguise. They are all so eager for her to help them.

Halloween Adventurers Rewards

Might not want to dress up but even so you want to go off on some Halloween adventures. Always to some dark spooky place while carrying a handy torch. Expect to hear creepy noises and maybe have soemthing randomly jump out of you.

Best Halloween Adventurer: Seto – Fragile Dreams

Seto sets off into the night holding nothing but a torch. In the distance he can hear strange sounds and all he has for comfert is his torch and maybe a ghost friend.. The environments have the right sort of neglected and empty look and feel. Not only does he come across scary ghost like monsters but also encounters friendly ghosts he helps out

Best Halloween Adventurer Runner Up: Link – Legend of Zelda Wind Waker

Off he goes into some deep dark dungeon with nothing but a torch. Expect a few redeads to jump out from coffins on the sides screeching to freeze Link in fear. These things look like close relatives of Zombies and are weak to sunlight.
Also get some ghosts that try to possess Link but are also weak to light. Finally we got the traditional scary spiders.

Worst Halloween Adventurer: Hunter – Monster Hunter Trii

When it comes to hunting at night while holding a torch the scariest thing you will find isn’t the huge monsters that leap out at you… No it’s the Hunter. Armed with the best possible equipment a gleaming sword and eyes focused on it’s pry the hunter takes off after the huge monsters. Which is opposite of what Halloween Adventures should be like.

Test of Fear Rewards

The test of fear is to show some really scary yet harmless stuff in order to make person in the test run away in fear. Of course some sort of reward awaits you. Not exactly Halloween but I decided to add this anyway randomly.

Best Test of Fear: Test of Fear – StarFox Adventures

As name implies this is a proper Test of fear. Fox must face off against ghosts, face paced dinosaurs and a giant ghost monster. If he can’t keep his cool he fails the test and is booted out. He must keep trying in order to prove his worth to the Krazoa spirit and get possessed by it. Of course this is all for Krystal who is trapped.

Best Test of Fear Runner Up: Silent Realm – Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword

What’s worse then normal if you get scared you fail is if you get hit once and fail. What’s worse is only defence against these things is collecting Sacred Tears. It’s a mad dash to collect all the Sacred Tears before either the gaurdiens get you and boots you out or you get fed up of trying to collect all the Sacred tears. I’m the latter.

Worst Test of Fear: Keyblade Master – Kingdom Hearts 3DS

The test itself was to go and wake up worlds that are asleep. Sounds simple enough but it’s more crazy then world filled with nightmares. After going through all that one character ultimately fails the test due to bad luck more then lack of skill. If it happened other way around well you get the idea. It’s less test and more series of random events that are connected vaguely.

The Logic of Bad Fans

I could never understand some fans. The fan logic they apply to gaming and anime is just very strange at times. The biggest problem I have encountered is how one-sided their views can be. Not just on set topics but on whole variety of stuff. Sometimes it like they are wearing tinted glasses. At first you might think rose-tinted is what I am meaning but not always. Here is a list of the random logic that is applied.

1. The Fan Label

This is probably one of the worst things that can happen. Once you got labelled as a specific fan this can change how people view what you write or say. You can be on a particular forum for ages before this happens but once it happens it can change so much in both good or bad ways. For starters it can mean everything you write must be somehow magically connected to what you’re a fan of. This can include topics not related to said fan subject. This can cause some real head scratching moments or random arguments for no particular reason. This can become a much worse situation when you’re in a position of minority. Your unlikely to get support and more likely to get bullied in a way. Like wild animals people pick up on differences and push those different away. Like a way to cleanse themselves and from their little wild pack that runs around attacking other packs and some might not even exist. Major reasons for this is because of bad press a lot of fans get. Most fans are decent lot but I find certain forums seem to gather bad fans. They always seem to stick out like a sour thumb.

2. It Only Works One Way

Bad fans have a nice way of putting everything into place for any debate. It is their answer to most arguments regarding something that can be applied to two things but makes them look bad. The logic of “It only works one way and that’s the way I say it works”. The best way is to use an example. In situation of a person not having played a console but easily rates it as rubbish most people should think this is unfair. However if it’s a console made by a company you don’t like for whatever reason it doesn’t really matter then. However using same logic and response but on the rival console. Those exact same people who supported previous thoughts would go against current ones. If you were to kindly point out to them this they would either reject it in some weird way or some might actually admit to doing so and for lack of better words apologise. Bad fans will only have it the way that benefits their fan subject.

3. From my Eyes and not Theirs

When it comes to story elements especially when there is a huge range of focus it’s very easy to ignore what the character actually known. As a result it’s very easy for fans to pick a side based on what they know. This can put very strange effect on the truth of characters actions. For example a common plot element is a character leaving the rest in order to protect them and put an end to all the bad stuff. For most part this sounds pretty noble unless you are already aware that this is all due to some bad guy pushing that person into leaving to further gain the advantage. It’s quite easy in that instance to view departure of the character as foolish or even selfish. As a result the character can become less popular even if it is made very clear that said character would have no knowledge of this. It’s very easy for us the viewer to ignore this in favour of what we know. It would be interesting to go back and watch a series from one characters perspective as opposed to the wider range provided.

4. Dreaming is Nice

We like to think what we see is positive for whatever we like. Facing the true character or object is a difficult task. Only a true fan would accept the good and bad and still like it. Now you can argue that you like something that has little or any bad stuff relating to it. Are you so sure? There are always bad stuff. Seeing that bad stuff and saying that it is bad but I still like it is very rare. Even I am guilty of it. That said what is bad for one might be good for another person. I maybe aware a character has childish moments but find those funny as opposed to annoying as some might. Some bad elements of a particular console could be just a misunderstanding rather than a fact. It is worthwhile having a good hard look at what you like. Might be difficult facing the truth but it makes what you like all the more solid.

Top 10 games I would want a sequel to but probably will never get one

10. Luminous Arc 4

As strategy games go I enjoyed the games light-hearted adventures. The witches looked great too. It’s unfortunate the 3rd game and Arc Rise Fantasia didn’t get released in Europe. Even so I would like to see 4th game. More crazy and fun witches. Lots of random funny dialogue and abilities. Can always release 3 and 4 together in some sort of package for outside of Japan right?

9. Tales of Symphonia 3

Really asking for it but even so would still want another sequel to Tales of Symphonia. Even if it was just so I could play as Colette once more. Just one more time to explore world of Symphonia. Just to finally sort everything out and see the world move onto a brighter and happier tomorrow. I wouldn’t mind the monster system returning either.

8. Avalon Code 2

The world is ending so you get a book that lets you alter stuff. Make people happy, change monsters so hopefully they are weaker, change armour so you get fairy wings and weapons you can change too. All the while you prepare to create a new world with words you gathered in the book. Also a side dating system added in for good measure. Would like to play sequel with more options and maybe add-on dictionary for all the words you get.

7. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers 2

This game was so much fun. While not Final Fantasy or a Crystal Chronicles game makes it a hugely under rated/appreciated game I would still like to see a sequel. The ability to mess around as much as you could in this game was just so much fun. Just thinking of a larger world with more stuff to mess around with just sounds like a lot of fun. However unlikely it is to happen.

6. Muramasa Demon Blade 2

Hand drawn sprites and crazy amounts of action not to mention the adorable white foxes… Do I really need to go much deeper into why I would want a sequel for this game? I mean some of the endings could easily take us off into side games. I would like to see mixture of both characters ending 2. Seeing them become Demon Blade hunters with cute white fox companion would be fantastic. Did I mention the cute whites foxes..?

5. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles My Life as a King 2

One of the best games on Wiiware. You play as a King of a Final Fantasy town based on Crystal Chronicles series. While lacking in action it’s still a very enjoyable game. I’m sure many have wanted to build own Final Fantasy town and have team of heroes go off to fight enemies. It was a lot of fun. I can be very particular where everything goes. I want to make sure it looks perfect even though not sure who will be looking at it. This game needs huge expansion. More hero types, more buildings, bigger city, able to ride a chocobo off into adventures and hopefully create perfect summoner town. Everything must summon something foxlike though.

4. Fragile Dreams 2

Not the best game combat wise but it’s story and atmosphere are up there with the best. The story of Seto and his journey through the near empty world of sorrow. I was surprised that he wasn’t suffering from severe depression. He has a lot to be sad about. Losing only other living person he knew of and having to search for other people. When he finally meets someone/girl he ends up having to battle monsters and meet lots of strange errm… Never did figure out what the shop keeper was. Anyway it was a strange, sad yet hopeful game. It’s unfortunate the game will never get the sequel it deserves. We all want Seto to have happy end because current end not so sure if he did.

3. Final Fantasy VI-2

I don’t honestly think this has a chance of happening. Even so I really like the magitek armour and felt the poor thing was severely under used. Just really enjoyed this game and want to see more from the characters and the world itself. While I do like the espers and magic I think it would be great if they did a far into the future sequel featuring reincarnations of previous characters who are now magitek armour knights. Maybe not magitek armour as such but something really close to it. Maybe just after a mecha RPG. Either way I think it would be interesting game to create. Because of attention given to Final Fantasy VII it seems unlikely we will ever get to revisit the world of Final Fantasy VI.

2. Theatrhythm Macross Frontier

Theatrhythm pretty interesting take on music genre. Macross Frontier is an idol and mecha anime series. I think Theatrhythm Macross Frontier would be great. The music would be split across three modes and music split between main three characters as well. Ranka for Ranka music, Sheryl for Sheryl music and Alto for the duets. Then the modes would be Triangle (for character interactions), Mecha (for mecha battles) and Concert (to watch Ranka and Sheryl sing). Just thinking of the cute chibi Macross F character dancing it out or cute chibi mecha battling  it out… Might be too cute for some but I think it would be a lot of fun. I don’t see how this would come to be though.

1. StarFox Adventures 2

It is the hate/like game for series fans. It doesn’t but does fit in with rest of the series at the same time. It wasn’t a perfect game but it wasn’t the world’s worst either. Why do I most want this game to have a sequel then? The potential for Adventures spin-off series to Star Fox is just huge. There is a decent list of plants for the team to fully explore so it’s not like we have to revisit same planet all the time. Combat system I admit in StarFox Adventures was slightly modified Zelda one but I could easily see them put in a much more action packed system for sequel. The ability to ride around on difficult vehicles and fully explore and learn about the planet just seems to be too big of an opportunity to miss. unfortunately we will never know where spin-off series called StarFox Adventures would take us. Can only dream of potential.
